Clean natural wheat starch without any additives or chemicals for the archival restauration of cracks on books, engravings and drawings on rag paper and torn historic documents.
Traditional raw material for bookbinding to make non aging glue. Acid free glue for chine collé of japanese washi paper in printmaking, woodcut and lithography.
Also suitable as a non-toxic alternative of regular paper glue.

Receipe for starch paste glue:
Mix 10 grams of wheat starch with water and let it soak for 10 minutes.
Then warm for 1,5 hours at 60 degree Celsius and stir all 10 minutes.
The mass becomes a transparent gel.
Let it cool.
Depending on the kind of paper You want to glue, the wheat starch jelly can be thinned with water or readily used as it is.
