Solder Mask Solder Resist Red For PCBs

2-component solder resist mask liquid for permanent protection of printed circuit boards in electronics.

The set consists of:
750 g solder-resist mask red
250 g hardener
290 g developer

Processing:

Mixing:
Mix 1 part of hardener with 3 parts of solder mask well and let it rest for 15 minutes.
The pot life of the mixed container is 24 hours.
If necessary, adjust to desired viscosity with thinner RT1000.

Application:
The application can be done by pouring, airbrushing or screen printing.
Then dry in the oven or with a hot air gun at approx. 70 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes.
Allow to cool.

Exposure:
UV source with 300-400 nm. Expose for 1 to 5 minutes depending on the intensity of the lamp.
After exposure, allow to rest for at least 10 minutes.

Development:
Prepare a 1% solution with 10 grams of developer R1200 per 1 liter of water.
The optimal development temperature is 30 degrees Celsius.
Let it develop for 1-2 minutes and support the development with brush or sponge.
Rinse with water for 1 minute.
Then dry with a hot air dryer.

Decoating:
In case of faulty exposure the resist can be removed with a 5% solution of sodium hydroxide at 50 degrees Celsius.
